Pepco is a European chain of stores that offers low-price household products and began developing in Poland more than 20 years ago. They entered the Croatian market in 2016 , and today they are present in 15 European countries. They stand out in the range of children's clothing and as a leading supplier of decorating products. Their business is going great, confirmed by the fact that they open an average of about 300 new locations every year and currently have 23.000 employees.

Sometimes it is difficult to assess the potential of each employee.
Most behaviors, skills, problem-solving mindsets, etc. unveil in various real-life situations. The assessment centre uses exactly those methods to identify management potential and determine the suitability of candidates for managerial positions or promotions.

DEKRA solution

Experienced DEKRA consultants are running the assessment center. It consists of an all-day set of different exercises designed to simulate various aspects of the business environment. Some of the skills assessed are business knowledge, organizational, motivational, and development skills, resourcefulness, resistance to stress, teamwork skills, etc.

After conducting the assessment centre, Pepco's management team receives a detailed report on candidate's profiles with a forecast of success on the position of area manager.
